Welsh Dresser Younger Toledo

This statement welsh dresser  was recreated using Benjamin Moore Advance Paint in the colour Flint (AF-560) with contrasting Walnut top that has been lacquered for extra protection as its going to be living it’s new life in the London Marriott Hotel County Hall, the drawer and door backplates were sprayed Bronze with the drop handles being left to the original brass.
Flint is a very pretty cool charcoal that is a fantastic alternative to basic neutrals.
John Herbert took his inspiration from Spain when designing the Toledo range for A Younger Ltd back in the early 1970’s. Together they aimed at the top end of the market and certainly managed to achieve this, so much so that today this range is becoming extremely popular once again with its new modern painted finish. They kept the volume low and did not mass produce making this range as sought after today as it was in the 70’s.
